Jock Zonfrillo (1976 – 2023) was a Scottish-Australian celebrity chef, restaurateur, and television personality. He was best known as a judge on the Australian cooking show <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/MasterChef%20Australia">MasterChef Australia</a> from 2019 until his death in 2023.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, to an Italian father and a Scottish mother, Zonfrillo began his culinary career at a young age. He worked in various renowned restaurants, including Marco Pierre White's Restaurant Marco Pierre White.

In Australia, he opened several successful restaurants, including Restaurant Orana and Bistro Blackwood in Adelaide. <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Restaurant%20Orana">Restaurant Orana</a> was particularly notable for its focus on indigenous Australian ingredients and techniques. It earned critical acclaim and numerous awards.

Zonfrillo was passionate about promoting indigenous Australian cuisine and worked closely with indigenous communities. He established the <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Orana%20Foundation">Orana Foundation</a> to support indigenous food projects.

He wrote a memoir titled Last Shot, which detailed his struggles with addiction and his journey to becoming a successful chef.

Zonfrillo's sudden death in April 2023, at the age of 46, was widely mourned by the culinary community and the Australian public. The new season of MasterChef Australia was postponed following his death and later aired with tributes to him.
